Dogtag Ltd is committed to maintaining the privacy of all of its website users and customers. This Privacy Policy explains our online information practices and the various measures taken to protect your privacy and security.

Dogtag complies with both the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Directive on Privacy and Electronic communications (2002/58/EC).

Collecting Personal Information

We do not ask for personal information while providing a quotation. We only collect personal information at the point of purchase. We will ask for your name, address, telephone number and email address. Plainly, this information is required for the purposes of creating your policy and administering it. We will also ask you if you wish to be provided with information regarding your cover such as renewal of your policy and other issues which we feel might be of interest to you in your professional role. This service is optional and even if you choose to be kept informed by email, you can unsubscribe at a later date.

Contact Form

When contacting us, we ask for your name and e-mail address. We will only use this information for reply purposes. It won't be added to any database and used for future marketing purposes.

Other Uses of Information

Our associates will need to process the data you provide to fulfil your insurance policy. They are:
(1): The fulfillment service that despatches your insurance policy pack.
(2): The insurer that underwrites your policy and operates our emergency assistance service and claims handling. These companies, like Dogtag Ltd, adhere to the Data Protection Act and will act only on our instructions. They will not hold or use the information in any other way.

We also use information acquired through the website the better to understand how the website is being used and how it can be improved. This type of data is called 'aggregate data' and does not identify individuals. Instead it highlights trends e.g. number of website visitors. This aggregate data is collected on a regular basis and may occasionally be communicated to selected business partners.
